The aim of the project is to develop an innovative automated system for rapid magnetic removal of yeast sediment from sparkling wine bottles.
The new technology marks a turning point in the production of sparkling wines as it eliminates existing up to several weeks long, rigid and costly yeast removal process.
It introduces efficient and flexible technology, which allows for the first time the producers of sparkling wine to clean, pack and ship their products to the market the same day as they are ordered. .
The project is a joint R&D cooperation of two companies: InoVine d.o.o. and Šraml d.o.o.
The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
